I didn't used to like books. I thought they were boring - I guess I just didn't see how their content could relate to my life.

Lately, I can't put them down. I guess I've found a way to sift through the useless ones and find what it is I need, what it is I'm looking for. If you're here because you're looking for resources, you'll notice I've divided my favorite books on self-injury (SI) into categories. These books are all wonderful, you don't have to worry about whether or not they're good. And, no, I'm not selling them on this site. I just wanted to compile some resources for people who might appreciate what they have to say.

Feel free to browse through the descriptions and explore what might be of benefit to you. Believe me, I've read a lot of books on SI and I've decided to post only a chosen few on Your Story because many of they others simply couldn't hold my attention. And, I figure, if they can't keep my attention, how could they keepy anyone else's?

This month's book of honor is Analyse Yourself. I've known Karen for over 15 years and have come to respect her as someone who really understands people well. She is a fantastic coach, great speaker and her book Analyse Yourself is a MUST READ. If interested, read more here.
